This Privacy Policy describes how zikimit ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the iOS app "SelfStatus" ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

The App itself does not directly collect or store any personal information. However, the advertising service integrated into the App (Google AdMob) may collect the following information for the purpose of delivering optimized ads:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA)
• Device type and iOS version
• Statistical information about app usage
• Diagnostic data (such as crash reports and performance data)

Everything you create in the App stays on your device. The Orbs, categories, items, titles, and descriptions you write are saved in local storage on your device only. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server component — your content is never transmitted to zikimit and we have no way to read it.

When you export a snapshot image or a JSON backup, the App hands that file to the iOS share sheet, and you choose where it goes. When you import a backup, the App reads the file you select through the iOS document picker. In both cases the data moves only between your device and the destination you pick — it does not pass through zikimit.

2. Advertising via Google AdMob

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC), including a banner and optional reward ads that you choose to watch. AdMob and its partners may use device identifiers (such as the IDFA) and similar technologies to deliver, frequency-cap, and measure ads, and to detect invalid activity.

App Tracking Transparency (ATT). On iOS, before any tracking that uses the IDFA across apps and websites, the App requests your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you do not grant permission, only non-personalized ads — based on context and coarse location — are shown.

Personalized vs. non-personalized ads. Depending on your consent and region, you may be shown either personalized ads (based on your interests) or non-personalized ads (based on the app content and your approximate location only). Where the App is made available in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a consent message will be presented before personalized ads are shown, and you may withdraw or change your consent at any time.

What ads are never based on. The content you write inside the App is not used for ad targeting, and is not sent to the advertising service.

How to opt out. You can stop ad personalization at any time:

• On your device: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and turn off tracking for the App (or disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track").

• Your Online Choices (EDAA, EU)

Opting out does not remove ads entirely — it only stops them from being personalized to you.

AdMob is provided by Google and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Information

Information collected by the advertising service is used solely to deliver relevant ads to you. We do not sell or share this information with any third parties.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not share your information with third parties except as required by law. Data related to ad delivery is handled in accordance with Google's terms of service.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad content is restricted to a general audience rating.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied. zikimit does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App, compatibility with all devices or iOS versions, or that defects will be corrected.

The App is a creative self-expression tool. It does not analyze, score, diagnose, or evaluate you, and nothing it displays constitutes psychological, medical, career, financial, or any other professional advice. All content on your status screen is written by you and reflects only what you entered.

Your data is stored only on your device. Because there is no server backup, data may be lost if you delete the App, reset your device, or if the device is lost or damaged. Please use the export feature to keep your own backups. zikimit cannot recover lost data.

Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence on the part of zikimit, and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, zikimit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or any other loss. This limitation applies only to damages caused by zikimit's ordinary (slight) negligence, and nothing here excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Advertisements in the App are served by Google AdMob. zikimit does not endorse or take responsibility for the content of any advertisement displayed within the App.
